Pro wrestling legend and current DDT Pro-Wrestling star Jun Akiyama has announced he will be leaving the BURNING unit at the end of the year.
On November 16th, Jun Akiyama, Danshoku Dieno & Makoto Oishi won a 1 day tournament to become the new KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Champions. Following the title win, Akiyama revealed backstage during post match comments that he intended to leave BURNING at the end of the year. He said he will leave BURNING in the hands of Tetsuya Endo and explore his own path again.
Jun Akiyama was part of the fourth incarnation of BURNING and has been with the faction since 2011.
