Orange Cassidy Says “It Hurts Every Time” To Wrestle Jon Moxley

Orange Cassidy talks about what its like to wrestle Jon Moxley.

Cassidy has wrestled Moxley before, most recently at AEW All Out 2023 when Moxley was able to dethrone Cassidy as the International Champion.

After suffering a concussion during a title defense at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, Moxley would lose the championship to Rey Fenix before Cassidy would take the championship back from Fenix.

Speaking to Phil Strum on Under The Ring, Cassidy explained what its like to wrestle Jon Moxley in singles competition, noting that it hurts every time.

“It’s not fun to wrestle Jon Moxley. When you look at that giant monster, it hurts every single time. So I’m not really looking forward to it, the feeling I’m going to have after the match, but I have a lot to prove to myself in this match. Because the first time that Jon Moxley and I wrestled, he did beat me, and it didn’t sit right with me for a very, very long time. So now I have the opportunity to get my — I don’t know, it’s just weird, there’s like a missing feeling I have holding the championship. I don’t think I’m going to be able to feel complete until I beat Jon Moxley,”

The two men are set to rematch for the championship this weekend at AEW Full Gear but before that, they will be in tag team action on tonight’s AEW Dynamite where Moxley teams Wheeler Yuta and Cassidy teams with HOOK.
