Roman Reigns Not Expected To Compete Again In 2023 After Crown Jewel

Roman Reigns is not expected to compete again in 2023 after WWE Crown Jewel.

The Tribal Chief has been operating under a part time schedule since becoming WWE Champion and unifying the title with the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 38.

His last match was at SummerSlam 2023, and has missed a large amount of Premium Live Events this year.

Reigns is currently scheduled to take on LA Knight at WWE Crown Jewel this weekend for the championship, but his schedule after the fact is in question.

Ringside News now reports that Reigns is not scheduled to wrestle again in 2024 after Crown Jewel.

Ringside News was told by a tenured member of the creative team that, unless something changes, Crown Jewel on November 4th will be the last time Roman Reigns will wrestle in 2023. He has one match against LA Knight, and he won’t wrestle again until 2024.

We will have to wait and see if Reigns will be able to retain his championship when he faces off with Knight this Saturday evening.
