New Japan Pro-Wrestling held its fifth night of the Super Jr Tag League 2023 tournament on October 28th at the Tsuruga Castle Gymnasium.
The main event saw El Desperado & Master Wato defeat Clark Connors & Dan Moloney to earn their 8th point and have sole possession of 1st place in the tournament.

- Shota Umino & Ren Narita defeated Great-O-Khan & Callum Newman (9:45) after Umino’s Blaze Blade against Newman.
- Tomohiro Ishii, YOSHI-HASHI & Toru Yano defeated “King of Darkness” EVIL, Yujiro Takahashi & Dick Togo (8:58) after Yano’s Uragasumi vs. Togo.
- Super Jr. Tag League: TJP & Francesco Akira [6 points] defeated Ryusuke Taguchi & The DKC [4 points] (12:39) as Akira pinned DKC after the 2/2.
- Super Jr. Tag League: DOUKI & TAKA Michinoku [2 points] defeated YOH & MUSASHI [4 points] (11:13) after a suplex de la K by DOUKI against MUSASHI.
- Super Jr. Tag League: Robbie Eagles & Kosei Fujita [4 points] defeated SHO & Yoshinobu Kanemaru [6 points] (11:27) as Eagles pinned SHO.
- Super Jr. Tag League: Titan & BUSHI [4 points] defeated KUSHIDA & Kevin Knight [6 points] (10:43) as BUSHI KUSHIDA pinned after the Angel Immortal.
