Wardlow Advises Adam Cole To Pull The Trigger On MJF

Wardlow wants to see Adam Cole to pull the trigger on MJF.

MJF has been the world champion of AEW since winning it from Jon Moxley on November 19, 2022, at Full Gear. Since then he has successfully defended it against Ricky Starks, Bryan Danielson, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, and Jack Perry before beginning a feud in June with Adam Cole.

On the July 5 episode of Dynamite, MJF and Cole were teamed together to participate in a tournament to receive an AEW World Tag Team Championship match on the July 29, 2023, episode of Collision. They won the tournament, defeating Daniel Garcia and Guevara in the finals before losing to FTR for the AEW Tag Team championships.

However, Cole and Max have continued to be close allies, going through a world title matchup with Cole back at All In.

While speaking to Sports Nightly, Wardlow would send a warning to Adam Cole, telling him he should pull the trigger on MJF before Max pulls it on him.

“Pull the trigger before he does,”

“Yeah, ten wasn’t enough. I don’t know if there is a number that exists that will satisfy me for the amount of Powerbombs that MJF is due, and deserves. I understand in the past four months, he has somehow convinced everybody in the world to cheer for him, feel sad for him, and feel sorry for him. It just amazes me how somebody can do horrible evil things for years and then they come out and say sorry, and spew out some fake tears, and now all of a sudden everybody forgets about all the bad they’ve ever done and they want to embrace them. Well, I’m a little more intelligent. I see right through his BS, and I am not one of the people that have sat at home cheering on MJF for the past four months.”

Wardlow

We will have to wait and see if Max and Wardlow will cross paths again in AEW soon.
