Jon Moxley and Orange Cassidy will rematch at AEW Full Gear with the AEW International Championship on the line.
Prior to AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday earlier this week, it was revealed that Jon Moxley was still not cleared to compete after suffering a concussion back at AEW Grand Slam.
That being said, fellow former champion Orange Cassidy would step in to challenge Fenix, who has also been working through injuries.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that the plan has always been for Moxley and Cassidy to have a rematch from their AEW All Out encounter at AEW Full Gear in the Kia Forum. Now, the plan remains, just with Cassidy as champion once again.
Rey Fenix had been working with a bad back, or hip, or both. The hope was to have Jon Moxley win the title from Fenix and defend against Cassidy, likely on the PPV. Unless plans change, that match would still happen at Full Gear but with Cassidy as champion

We will have to wait and see what will come of this matchup, and if it will help provide some much needed stability to the AEW International Championship.
