MLW World Champion Alex Kane Talks The Importance Of Representing The LGTBQ Community

MLW World Champion Alex Kane represents Major League Wrestling as it’s top competitor but that’s not all he represents. He is also a representative of the LGTBQ community as an out athlete.

Alex Kane was a recent guest on the Jeremy Lambert and Joel Pearl on In The Weeds, podcast and Kane talked about the importance of being a representative of the LGBTQ community.

I think it’s important because you have so many LGBTQ wrestlers in wrestling. Some are just on the come up and some are already on the big stage. For those on the come up, you can look at me and see, ‘If Alex Kane can do it, then I can do it.’ I feel that’s pretty damn inspiring, especially to be a world champion, two years into the company, it’s something to strive for. It’s very important to me
