Tony Khan sends a message to Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
NXT and AEW used to both run concurrently on Wednesday night’s before WWE surrendered the Wednesday Night Wars and moved the brand to Tuesday nights.
Now, due to a scheduling change, AEW Dynamite will go down on a Tuesday night with both shows being stacked to the rafters for tonight’s incredible night of wrestling.
That being said, WWE are looking at tonight as an opportunity to send a message, as Haus Of Wrestling reports that one source says that AEW have been lulled into a false sense of reality and that the powers that be of NXT have no issue spoiling Tony Khan’s birthday.
Khan would see this report and responded with a simple social media post, calling out Triple H and Shawn for their lack of hair.
I have a message for them: See you TONIGHT at a special Tuesday Night #AEWDynamite: Title Fight Tuesday At 8pm ET/7pm CT on @TBSNetwork At least the first 30 Minutes Are Commercial-Free, + a big overrun TONIGHT!
Tony Khan
John Cena, Paul Heyman, Asuka, Cody Rhodes and more are scheduled for tonight’s edition of NXT, with it believed that Undertaker will also feature on the show.
We will have to wait and see what the ratings will look like coming out of tonight’s head to head.
