Jim Ross is still working on a new AEW deal.
The AEW announcer only recently returned to the AEW Collision booth after taking some time off after the debut of the show earlier this summer. Ross has suffered through several health issues in recent years, but has been supported by AEW through it all.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter now reports that Jim’s deal with AEW is either up or close to being up, as the continue to work on a new deal.
Jim Ross’ AEW contract is either up or about to be up and he’s still working as they negotiate a new deal. It was supposed to be up in September.
