Josh Alexander Talks Who He Would Pick As A Tag Team Partner, Says A Reunion With Ethan Page Isn’t Happening
Josh has had great success on his own, and it doesn’t sound like he’s open to reuniting with his former friend and tag team partner, Ethan Page.
Their last match as a team was in November of 2020 at the LIVE Turning Point event, where they lost the IMPACT Tag Team Titles to the Good Brothers.
As The North, Josh is a former 2x IMPACT Tag Team Champion, as well as 2x IMPACT Tag Team Of The Year in 2019 & 2020.
Speaking to Sportskeeda, Alexander was asked about a possible North reunion.
“We kind of play in separate sandboxes and we really don’t have much of a relationship anymore because of that. I’m really not focused on anything tag team wrestling. If I were to tag would anybody, honestly, I don’t think Ethan Page would be my first pick right now,” he said.
When asked who he would pick as his partner, Alexander replied, “It’s tough to say now going into Bound For Glory, but I think I would have to pick Alex Shelley as my partner, even though he has a long and storied history with Motor City Machine Guns. I think the blend together would be nice. If I had to pick anybody else, it’d be Mike Bailey, just for the Canadian Connection and hopefully we can bring back Team Canada 2.0 one day.”

Ethan Page departed IMPACT in early 2021 and joined AEW. Since then, he has barely done anything at all in the promotion, while Josh Alexander has gone on to become a 2x IMPACT World Champion.
Josh has the chance to become a 3x World Champion at Bound For Glory in a few weeks when he takes on Alex Shelley for the “title he never lost”, the IMPACT World Title.
