Over the weekend, it was revealed that PCO would be finishing up his time with IMPACT Wrestling very shortly.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider got more details surrounding the contract negotations between IMPACT Wrestling & PCO.

After a bit of back and forth negotiation with the company, he felt it wasn’t getting anywhere, so PCO took the decision into his own hands and decided not to sign a new contract.

PCO was interviewed by Pat Laprade and Kevin Raphael on their podcast “Les Anti-Pods de la Lutte” and here’s what he had to say.

On the possibility that WWE’s recent firings influenced his negotiation:

“Of course it did. Already there were names mentioned by people close to the office. The names that were circulating were (Matt) Riddle, (Dolph) Ziggler and Mustafa Ali. These are the three names that supposedly Impact would try to sign.”

All 3 former WWE superstars were recently released from WWE shortly after the WWE and UFC merged into TKO Holdings.

They would all be big additions to the already-fluid IMPACT Wrestling roster.
