Mickie James and Trinity are teaming together tonight!
Both women have missed each other so far in IMPACT. Mickie went out in March with an injury, and Trinity debuted for the company in May. Now, the two women will be on the same side of a huge tag team match.
As Battleground Podcast was speaking to James, the idea was thrown out there for Mickie and Gail to go after the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles. Mickie jokingly said they’d be like the new Natural Disasters.
We would be unstoppable (Mickie said about herself & Gail Kim as Knockouts Tag Champions). Who’s gonna beat us? Nobody! Period.
We would be like the new Natural Disasters. She would be Tsunami maybe… She could be Tsunami — well, I don’t know. I’m not gonna pick her name for her. I definitely would probably be more — or she could be Monsoon… And I can be the Tennessee Tornado. Done, money. Look at all that money. We just printed it.

Trinity debuted for IMPACT on the 5/4 IMPACTonAXSTV episode, where she defeated a member of The Coven, KiLynn King. She would quickly work her way through the Knockouts division before earning a shot at the Knockouts World Title in July at the Slammiversary PPV. Trinity then defeated Deonna Purrazzo via submission to become the NEW Knockouts Champion.
Mickie officially relinquished the Knockouts World Title in April right before the Rebellion PPV. She had been out with an injury since then, and finally made her return to IMPACT last week to set up this HUGE 10 Knockout Tag Team Match. Mickie joined the team of Gail Kim, Awesome Kong, Gail Kim, and Jordynne Grace.
This is the first time in IMPACT that Trinity and Mickie will be on the same side, and are also scheduled to be teaming together this weekend for the Mid-South Mayhem TV tapings in Memphis, TN.
