With John Cena Heading To Saudi Arabia, There Are Reportedly No Hold Outs In WWE For Saudi Arabia Events

There are no more hold outs on the WWE roster regarding travel to Saudi Arabian shows.

Earlier this week, the news broke that John Cena would be travelling to the country for the upcoming Crown Jewel event during Riyadh Season. Cena had previously rejected going to the country after attending the debut event of WWE’s deal with the kingdom. Many believed Cena morally objected to the events and did not want to draw controversy while his acting career was rapidly growing.

In a Wrestling Observer Daily Update, Dave Meltzer noted that John may have decided that travelling to the country would no longer negatively effect his career.

“In Saudi Arabia they are announcing John Cena for the 11/4 show.

Cena had pulled out of the last WWE show in Saudi Arabia he had been booked on, but it’s no longer an issue that could have negative effects on his career since everyone is back doing business with the country now.

Basically there is nobody left on the roster as far as we know that is either refusing to go or banned from going.”

As mentioned before Cena hasn’t appeared in Saudi Arabia since the initial Greatest Royal Rumble Premium Live Event back in 2018.

We will have to wait and see what Cena will do during this years Crown Jewel event.
