CM Punk Returns To CFFC Announce Booth, Says He’s Got Time On His Hands For The Next Two Months

It has been a tumultuous couple of weeks regarding CM Punk. At AEW All In, Punk was involved in yet another backstage altercation. However, this one would be different than those in the past in various ways. Namely, Punk not only fought with Jack Perry, he also reportedly lunged at AEW president Tony Khan while furiously quitting the company.

These events would leave Khan no other choice but to fire the Chicago native with cause, despite Punk’s drawing power and status as the companies “real world’s champion”. Punk has yet to comment on the matter.

CM Punk returned to the Cage Fury Fighting Championship booth last night and his broadcast partner John Morgan noted that he was back, with cause. Punk noted that he has time on his hands for the next two months.

Conveniently enough, Survivor Series is in Chicago this year and with rumors swirling that WWE may be an option for Punk, perhaps he is playing the long game in that regard with this tease.

We will have to wait and see if any other wrestling companies would like to try use CM Punk to their advantage and if it will go better than how his career went in All Elite Wrestling.
