WWE Marketing Division Hit Hard In Cuts, Live Event Division Also Sees Multiple Departures

WWE cuts continue following TKO Group’s finalization.

The cuts have already begun today, with multiple executives already being laid off within WWE.

It was also reported that it was believed WWE talent could be laid off as soon as today. However, the belief within the company is not the same.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson has now reported that WWE’s marketing division was “hit hard”. Specifically, Kimberly Kirkegard, Brand Director and Saverio Brighina, Affiliate Marketing Manager, departed the company. Additionally, the live events department had multiple departures.

During WrestleMania 39 weekend, the sale was officially announced as Vince had accepted an offer from Endeavor and the plan became to merge the WWE and UFC to form a 21 billion dollar company. Now, the merger with the UFC to form a new company, TKO Group has finalized as the company will now start trading on the stock market.
