Chris Sabin Defeats Lio Rush To Become 10x IMPACT X Division Champion
During tonight’s IMPACT1000 broadcast on AXSTV, Chris Sabin was granted his contractual rematch for the X Division Title against Lio Rush.
Rush defeated Sabin for the title at Slammiversary, but since then has been attacking him from behind and talking all kind of shit, while continuously avoiding Sabin at all costs.
Gia Miller caught up with Lio backstage before the match, who said he’s going to shut down any chance Sabin has to make history by becoming a 10x IMPACT X Division Champion.
In a great back and forth match, Rush kicked out of the CRADLE SHOCK and then Sabin kicked out of the FINAL HOUR.
Sabin finally got his hands on Rush and finished him off with the SHELLSHOCK followed by a CRADLE SHOCK and the pin to become a 10x IMPACT X Division Champion.
Alex Shelley and many others celebrated with Chris in the ring after the monumental victory.
