Nick Khan Teases More Fighters Like Ronda Rousey Making The Jump To WWE

Nick Khan wants Ronda Rousey to be the first of many MMA fighters who come to WWE for a longer life after their fighting days are over.

With the merger between WWE and the UFC now complete, known now as TKO Group, there are a lot more possibilities for combat sports athletes now more than ever.

In the past, Ronda Rousey has shown that MMA fighters could cross over and be successful in professional wrestling as she was part of the first women’s main event in WrestleMania history.

Nick Khan now believes that MMA fighters can be breathed new life through a career in WWE.

Nick Khan told ESPN:

“UFC fighters are gonna stay focused on the UFC and WWE superstars obviously do something different in our ring,”

“… but you also see in the UFC people with big personalities who, once their UFC run is done, once the UFC and the fighter says, ‘Hey, maybe now’s the time to call it a day,’ could those people have a longer life at WWE, an extended life with TKO? We think so.”

During WrestleMania 39 weekend, the sale was officially announced as Vince had accepted an offer from Endeavor of 21 billion dollars for the company. Now, the merger with the UFC to form a new company, TKO Group has finalized as the company will now start trading on the stock market.

We will have to wait and see how the new company will change the way things are ran in both the professional wrestling and mixed martial arts juggernauts in the WWE and the UFC moving forward.
