Ryohei Oiwa: I’ve Grown Since Coming To NOAH

New Japan Pro-Wrestling young star Ryohei Oiwa is currently part of the Pro Wrestling NOAH roster as he is on his excursion away from the promotion. Oiwa joined Pro wrestling NOAH after he was invited by NOAH ace Kaito Kiyomiya. The two have formed a tag team and have won their first three matches together in NOAH.

After their September 10th win over Adam Brooks and Stallion Rogers, Oiwa made comments backstage indicating he feels he has grown as a wrestler while competing in NOAH.

First of all, the third match with Kaito-san was solid today, and it ended in victory. First of all, I feel like I’ve grown, and I’ve definitely grown since coming to Noah, and I think that’s a good thing. Thank you.

Oiwa then weighed in on his upcoming singles match against Junta Miyawaki on September 17th:

But, next up is a singles match against Junta Miyawaki at Korakuen Hall. I definitely can’t lose there. There is New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s pride, and the fact that I am a heavyweight, and lots of other things going on, but the next time at Korakuen Hall, I’ll definitely beat him.
