Yuma Aoyagi Defeats Satoshi Kojima, Retains AJPW Triple Crown Championship, Next Challenger Revealed

Yuma Aoyagi remains the All Japan Pro-Wrestling Triple Crown Champion.

On September 3rd, the Royal Road Tournament winner Satoshi Kojima received his shot at the current AJPW Triple Crown Champion Yuma Aoyagi at the AJPW GIANT 2023 Series event. After an fierce battle that could have gone either way, Yuma Aoyagi proved to be the better man on this evening as he defeated Kojima to hold on to his Triple Crown Title. This was Aoyagi’s 3rd successful title defense.

Yuma Aoyagi thanked Kojima after the match and they both bowed as a sign of respect for each other.

Aoyagi then called out Ryuki Honda and named him the next challenger for the Triple Crown Title. Honda scored a pinfall victory over Aoyagi at the Royal Road Tournament and eliminated him from it.

Yuma Aoyagi will defend the Triple Crown Title against Ryuki Honda on September 23rd.
