AJPW Triple Crown Champion Yuma Aoyagi Set To Defend Title Against Royal Road 2023 Winner Satoshi Kojima (9/3/2023)
The All Japan Pro-Wrestling Triple Crown Title shot that Satoshi Kojima earned by winning the 10th Royal Road Tournament is set to take place on September 3rd in Nagaoka.
The current Triple Crown Champion Yuma Aoyagi will attempt to successfully defend his title for the third time against Kojima. Kojima will be attempting to win the AJPW Triple Crown Title for the third time in his career. He held the title back in 2005/2006 and 2009/2010.
Yuma Aoyagi and Satoshi Kojima met each other back in April 2023 in a Champion Carnival 2023 match. Aoyagi was victorious over Kojima in that encounter.
Aoyagi has been the reigning AJPW Triple Crown Champion since July 2nd when he defeated Yuji Nagata for the title.
Satoshi Kojima is under contract to NJPW but is currently on loan to AJPW.
