Francesco Akira vs Vaughn Vertigo Announced For Smash Wrestling Fight Night! (9/16/2023)
While recently being interviewed by Bodyslam.net’s Lewis Carlan, indy star Vaughn Vertigo stated that he absolutely needed a match with NJPW star Francesco Akira.
Well, Vaughn Vertigo’s wish has become a reality.
Top Canadian promotion Smash Wrestling announced today that Vaughn Vertigo will go one on one with United Empire faction member Francesco Akira on September 16th in London, Ontario at the promotion’s Fight Night! event at The Western Fair District.
This match has been added to a card that is shaping up to be a special one for the fans of Smash Wrestling who will be in attendance for the event.
Here is the updated card for Smash Wrestling Fight Night! on September 16th:
- Smash Wrestling Championship: Psycho Mike (c) vs Alessandro Del Bruno
- Smash Wrestling Tag Team Championship : Tabarnak De Team (Mathieu St-Jacques & Thomas Dubois) (c) vs Fresh Air (Macrae Martin & Junior Benito)
- Smash Wrestling Women’s Championship: Dream Girl Ellie (c) vs Seleziya Sparx
- Francesco Akira vs Vaughn Vertigo
