During tonight’s IMPACTonAXSTV broadcast, IMPACT lead commentator Tom Hannifan mentioned that the much-anticipated women’s match for Multiverse United 2.

Last week, Deonna Purrazzo laid out a challenge to NJPW to “send their best” for her. This past weekend, Deonna officially challenged NJPW Strong Women’s Champion, Giulia, to a match for the title. Gisele Shaw interrupted and also challenged Giulia.

Giulia responded and said she’s coming to America.

“Can I really call myself the top female wrestler? I’ve always wanted to compete with someone different from those big, strong power fighters. That’s why I’m going to America next.”

Stardom talent Momo Kohgo interjected herself and said she wanted a shot at the title as well.

“While I was gone, an IMPACT WRESTLING wrestler challenged for Giulia’s Strong title and Giulia accepted. What do you even mean?

I’m not going to allow the 3 of you to do it. I’m going to Philadelphia too. Please be prepared!”

NJPW Strong Women’s Champion, Giulia, will defend her title against Deonna Purrazzo, Gisele Shaw, and Momo Kohgo this Sunday at Multiverse United 2:’For Whom The Bell Tolls.”
