Toni Storm Wishes Wembley Stadium Was Not In England, Isn’t Happy About Returning To The Country

Toni Storm is not a fan of returning to England for AEW All In later this month.

Since losing the AEW Women’s World Championship to Hikaru Shida at AEW Dynamite 200, Toni Storm has been incredibly bummed out as of late.

Despite Toni’s mood being down, she does have an opportunity to become a three time AEW Women’s World Champion at All In when she will challenge for the championship in Wembley Stadium in front of over 80,000 fans. That being said, Storm is not looking forward to returning to England.

In a new interview with Daily Star, Storm said that she wished Wembley Stadium was in a difference place

“I mean I’m very excited because it’s the biggest show that we’re about to do, the biggest show in AEW history. I’m just a little disappointed that it’s in England, I just wish Wembley Stadium could be in a different place because I lived in England for a very long time. It’s where I got established, it’s where I made a name for myself. I am British, I have a British family. I’m just really bummed I have to go back, I thought I left my life behind there. But it’s what a champion does, you know?”

“The only reason I’d be excited to see those fans again, is that I get to rub it in how successful I am now. That’s gonna feel really good. That’s the only thing motivating me, just my excitement to show off how great I have become and officially denounce my British citizenship. Wembley Stadium, I can’t think of a better place.”

Storm will be joined by her Outcasts teammate Saraya in the matchup with Britt Baker and The Bunny battling for the final spot in a fatal four way matchup for the AEW Women’s World Championship.

We will have to wait and see if Storm will have a third world title reign to rub in the faces of the British fans when it comes down to it on August 27th.
