AJPW Super Rookie Yuma Anzai Comments On His First Win Of The NOAH N-1 VICTORY 2023

All Japan Pro-Wrestling super rookie Yuma Anzai earned his first victory and first two points of the Pro Wrestling NOAH N-1 VICTORY 2023 tournament as he defeated Manabu Soya on August 10th.

Yuma Anzai had a tough start to the tournament as he lost on opening night to Lance Anoa’i. On night 2 of the N-1, Anzai took NOAH superstar Go Shiozaki to the limit but was defeated in a match that many fans are saying is proof that Anzai is the future of pro wrestling in Japan.

Anzai finally got his hand raised in the N-1 Victory 2023 after the win over Manabu Soya on Augusy 10th in Korakuen Hall. It was a little bit of revenge for Anzai as he was defeated by Soya during the AJPW Champion Carnival tournament back in April 2023.

Yuma Anzai had these backstage comments following his big win over Soya:

What do you think? It’s not a coincidence or a muggle! It’s a victory that I’ve endured and grabbed with my own hands! My N-1 starts here!

Yuma Anzai next match in the N-1 will be a tough one as he faces Katsuhiko Nakajima on August 19th in Sapporo.
