Karl Anderson Says Anti-WWE Comments In The Past Were Due To Passion

Karl Anderson addresses negative comments against WWE in the past.

Anderson, who is currently signed to WWE, re-signed with the company at the backend of 2022 when Triple H took over creative control of the company, returning alongside Luke Gallows to reunite with AJ Styles.

The pair were originally released in 2020 and what followed was a scorched earth job by Karl, who was more than happy to throw dirt WWE’s way after his release.

Anderson opened up to Ryan Satin during the latest episode of “Out Of Character” about The OC’s 2020 exit and why he said the things he said.

“Maybe I said some things that were out of passion,” Anderson said. “When you’re angry about something or if you’re working up about something, you’re going to say what you feel and say what you think might be right or might not be right, but who knows what was going on behind the scenes? … I don’t know all that stuff and who knows who’s calling the shots at certain points at that time in 2020, so I’m just glad that we were able to work it out.”

Anderson is currently on the SmackDown brand alongside the rest of The OC.
