Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey will not be wrestling this Saturday.
On Monday Night RAW this week, WWE fans saw video packages detailing the long time relationship of Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey’s. After the first one of the night, it was announced by the commentary team that the pairs match at SummerSlam later this week will be held under MMA rules.
For those unaware, MMA rules dictates 3-5 five minute rounds with the winner being found by KO, Submission or Decision. We will have to wait and see if WWE will follow the usual rules of the sport for this matchup.
