AEW went to great lengths to secure the signature of RUSH.
RUSH is one of the most talented wrestlers on the planet, as proven by his litany of incredible matchups under the AEW banner in such a short amount of time. With this came interest from WWE when his AEW deal came up, but it appears that interest was dropped.
Dave Meltzer reports in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE’s interest in RUSH fizzled out after AEW made an “insane” monetary offer for a new deal. Of course, RUSH would go on to sign another deal with AEW, announcing the news on his social media.
WWE never made an official offer for RUSH because when they found out what AEW offered, they knew there was no way he was going to WWE. Someone in WWE called the offer “insane money.”

We will have to wait and see how RUSH will be used in the coming months now that he is once again All Elite.
