In today’s G1 Climax 33 main event, the current IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA defeated Kaito Kiyomiya with 2 seconds left in the match to remain undefeated in the tournament. This was the first time SANADA had faced Kiyomiya and they gave the fans an epic battle.
SANADA, who is now 4-0 with 8 points in the G1, pinned Kiyomiya following a Shining Wizard to secure the victory.
Impressed with his opponent, SANADA commented on Kiyomiya and how they should wrestle again:
Kiyomiya, it’s cool how you came here alone from another promotion and entered the toughest league matches in Japan. Let’s do it again
SANADA will attempt to go 5-0 in the G1 on July 27th as he faces Ren Narita.
