Earlier today, IMPACT Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account to announce that Moose & Brian Myers will be taking on part of the Time Splitters group, Alex Shelley & Kushida.
With Josh Alexander in the ring to call out Alex Shelley on Thursday, this led to Lio Rush & Kushida also making their way out. Shelly and Kushida were attacked from behind when Brian Myers and Moose slid i into the ring behind them once Bully Ray’s music hit as a distraction.
Myers and Moose were both part of the IMPACT Tag Team Match at Slammiversary, and Myers ended up taking the pinfall on that when Subculture came away with the victory.
Alex Shelley successfully defended his IMPACT World Title against Nick Aldis at Slammiversary, only to have Josh Alexander return and confront him after the bout. Josh gave a status update on Thursday, saying that he’s 100% cleared and is locked in on the IMPACT World Title that he never lost. Shelley came out and said he wants to give Josh a match to prove to himself that he deserves to be champion, not Alexander.
Kushida won the Ultimate X match at Slammiversary when he climbed the structure and grabbed the “X” that was hanging from the middle of it. Kushida made his way out to the ring on Thursday when Lio Rush came out and started talking about cashing in the X Division Title to utilize option C. Kushida proclaimed that he can’t cash in until he gets his match with Rush for the X Division Title.
