Bret Hart Offered To Be An Agent For AEW, Company Wanted Him As A Manager

Bret Hart wanted to be an agent for All Elite Wrestling.

Back at the first AEW Double Or Nothing event, Bret Hart was the man to reveal the AEW World Heavyweight Title. Since then, Bret has not appeared on AEW television, but he did want to be a part of the company initially.

Writer Brian R. Solomon who contributes to Inside The Ropes Magazine, took to Twitter and revealed that Bret Hart pitched to AEW to work as an agent but the company would turn Hart down because they wanted him to be a manager like other legends signed to the promotion.

When I recently interviewed Bret Hart for my book, he told me that he offered to agent for them, but they only wanted to bring him in as a manager like Tully, Arn, Jake, etc. Imagine having the ability to have Bret Hart coach your talent and saying, no just be a TV character.”

We will have to wait and see if Hart will be a man who will become a part of All Elite Wrestling in the near future or if he is happily absent from the wrestling business.
