Yuma Aoyagi Retains AJPW Triple Crown Title At Summer Action Series, New Challenger Emerges

At the July 22nd All Japan Pro-Wrestling Summer Action Series event, Yuma Aoyagi put his AJPW Triple Crown Title on the line in his first title defense against Hokuto Omori. Aoyagi was able to overcome a tough challenge by Omori and retained his Triple Crown Championship.

After the match, eight time AJPW Triple Crown Champion Suwama appeared and challenged Yuma Aoyagi for his title.

Yuma Aoyagi accepted the challenge and had these back stage comments regarding Suwama:

Next is my second defense match (omitted) I’m going to fight against Suwama with this belt. Hey Suwama. I’ve seen it. Ever since I was a wrestling fan, if I put on All Japan Pro Wrestling, you would definitely be there Suwama. I have no intention of going back to those days

There has been no official match made as of this writing for Yuma Aoyagi defending his Triple Crown Title against Suwama.

As for Hokuto Omori, he gets another opportunity on July 23rd to take a belt off of Yuma Aoyagi. Omori will team with Minoru Suzuki as they face the AJPW World Tag Team Champions Aoyagi and his partner Kento Miyahara as the Summer Action Series tour continues on July 23rd.
