The current head of NXT is happy with his current involvement in wrestling.
Back at Wrestlemania XXVI Michaels was defeated by The Undertaker in an retirement match, but Shawn would make one more trip down the aisle in 2018 at Crown Jewel when he teamed with Triple H against The Undertaker and Kane.
Shawn is regularly seen on WWE NXT to help set up matches but is not interested in stepping back in the ring at this time.
Michaels recently sat down with SportsKeeda and was asked about his thoughts on another match.
“No, I absolutely do not think about that at all anymore,”

He went on to talk about his current role and focus with NXT
“I’m so enamored and enjoy helping these young men and women come through NXT. I’ve had my time in the sun and I enjoyed every bit of it, but I so thoroughly enjoy being able to help them and allow them to have the same opportunities that I had. I was very happy to be able to work with Finn Balor in his second run in NXT because I certainly missed out on his first time. I have a great deal of admiration and respect for Finn and everything he’s brought to NXT. Now, this is about the generation of Bronn Breakker, Julius and Brutus Creed, Tiffany Stratton. We have a number of young men and women who have come through NXT that are going to be huge superstars on the main roster. I don’t think anybody is going to be surprised if they see Bronn Breakker and Carmelo Hayes headlining a WrestleMania in the very near future. That’s what I’m obviously focused on. We look forward to bringing the Great American Bash to Texas and putting together a great card, and me doing everything I can to help them out and bring them success in the future.”

Shawn was on the July 21st edition of WWE Smackdown to sanction the NXT North American Championship match between Dominik Mysterio and Butch.
