Eric Young: I Made A Hard Choice, And There Is No Doubt It Was The Right One

Eric Young left IMPACT back in November of 2022 when he was “stabbed to death” by Deaner, who then resumed the leadership role as the leader of The Design.

On Saturday night, Fightful Select put out a report about Eric Young requesting his release from WWE, and the most important part of that report is:

WWE sources confirmed to Fightful that Young had cited moral, creative and personal reasons as why he didn’t want to work with Vince McMahon.

Eric Young returned to IMPACT Wrestling this past Saturday at Slammiversary 2023 to partner with Scott D’Amore against Bully Ray & Deaner.

Young & D’Amore won the match when Young nailed Deaner with a top rope elbow drop and a pinfall.

Earlier today, Eric Young took to his social media Twitter account to make a statement around the confirmed release.

It’s great to see Eric Young back in an IMPACT ring, but even better that he actually stood up for what’s right and what he believes in.
