Daniel Garcia And Sammy Guevara, MJF And Adam Cole Advance To The Finals Of Blind Eliminator Tournament On AEW Dynamite

The first semi final in the Blind Eliminator tournament went down in the first hour of AEW Dynamite.

Garcia and Guevara would enter the match with their own theme music rather than the Jericho Appreciation Society’s music. The match was a high paced affair, with both sides landing big moves and even bigger tag team offense.

The big story of the match was Garcia and Guevara’s teamwork, while at times they were on the same playing field, they would also have several missteps during the match.

As the match reached its finale, Swerve Strickland would land a hit and run on Darby Allin, leading to Sammy Guevara hitting the GTH for the victory and to move on to the finals of the tournament. After the match Sammy apologized to Darby and shook his hand.

Following this match, MJF and Adam Cole faced off with Brian Cage and Big Bill in the other semi final matchup. Despite previously claiming he had the flu backstage, MJF would still make his entrance when his music hit, with he and Cole showing off some more of their budding friendship during their entrance.

Early on in the match, Adam and Max would show their friendship, with Cole doing more push ups than Cage to prove a point.

MJF would eventually get a bodyslam he would attempt to hit from the get go, eventually getting a hot tag to Adam Cole. Shortly after, they attempted a double clothesline, showing their teamwork despite eating two double clotheslines from the monster heels.

In the end, MJF would hit the Heat Seeker on Brian Cage, with Cole hitting The Boom for the victory to set up the finals between the two winners from tonight.
