Darren Drozdov’s Family Creates A Scholarship Fund in His Honor

The family of Darren “Droz” Drozdov, who went unexpectedly on June 30, has established a scholarship fund in his honor.

As Puke, the unofficial third member of the Legion of Doom alongside Hawk and Animal, Drozdov had a memorable WWE career. He also played football in the NFL. Later, he was teamed with Key and Prince Albert. When Drozdov landed awkwardly on a powerbomb during a match with D’Lo Brown in October 1999, his career was brutally ended. He never recovered his ability to walk. After the injury, he started writing and writing columns for WWE.

Drozdov’s family has established a scholarship fund at Oakcrest High School in Mays Landing, New Jersey, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Instead of flowers or other gifts, the family is accepting contributions to the Darren Drozdov Scholarship Fund.

The wrestling world paid tribute to Droz via twitter and social media

We here at BodySlam would like to extend our thoughts to the Droznov Family at this time
