Update On Money In The Bank 2023’s Main Event

We have an update on the main event for Money In The Bank 2023.

Fightful Select reports that the Money In The Bank Premium Live Event’s main event was decided after SmackDown, and the outlet also addressed WWE’s claim that Dominik Mysterio and Cody Rhodes would main event the show in London.

Cody Rhodes vs. Dominik Mysterio was announced as a main event of the show, which had fans asking what the status of that match is. When we asked WWE in an official capacity Friday morning, we weren’t given an answer. However others within WWE confirmed that there was some advertising that had went around promoting a “triple main event,” and was something they might do more of going forward after leaning out of it for a number of years. Another WWE source said “any more heat on Dominik Mysterio is a good thing” and felt like the line did that.  At one point, we heard discussion that Men’s Money in the Bank would open, and the Bloodline would close the PPV. Another WWE source said “officially” that would likely be finalized following Smackdown.

We will have to wait and see what match ends up closing out the Premium Live Event later today.
