Chris Sabin Challenges Lio Rush To Match For IMPACT X Division Title At Slammiversary, Match Made Official

Lio Rush came to the aid of Nick Aldis and blindsided Chris Sabin with his own X Division Title belt during the IMPACTomAXSTV episode last night.

Backstage, Sabin was fuming and said that if Rush wants to fight Sabin, they can do it in the ring at Slammiversary.

The last time Lio Rush competed in anything that had to do with IMPACT Wrestling when he took on Kushida at the IMPACTxNJPW Multiverse United show back in March. Rush fell short as Kushida gained the victory.

Moments ago, IMPACT took to their social media Twitter account to make the match official.

BREAKING: Last night @SuperChrisSabin issued the challenge and now the match is official, @IamLioRush will challenge for the X-Division Championship on July 15 at #Slammiversary LIVE on PPV from Windsor, ON!
