The current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and one of the best Jr heavyweights in the world Hiromu Takahashi has called out AEW’s stars Darby Allin, Jack Perry and whoever else wants a shot at his title.
At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Takahashi teamed with Shingo Takagi & BUSHI as they defeated Jeff Cobb, Kyle Fletcher and TJP in six man action.
Following the event, Hiromu Takahashi made these comments:
“I’m glad I was able to come this year. But in our match, it’s hard to call it a forbidden door card. Darby Allin, Jungle Boy, whoever wants this belt, go get it.”
With the Hiromu Takahashi produced All Star Jr Festival coming to Philadelphia on August 19th, Takahashi could be setting the stage for a big headlining match for that event.
