CM Punk And FTR Win The First Main Event Match Of AEW Collision

The AEW Collision main event was long awaited and when the match began, the crowd was electric for the trios action as Dax Harwood and Jay White kicked of the match with some fun exchanges.

Juice and Cash would soon tag in, with the pair also having some fun exchanges in the ring together, with Cash muscling Juice up multiple times before tagging Dax back in, with Punk then being tagged in for the first time. After a GTS scare, Juice would tag in Samoa Joe.

Punk and Joe would pick up where they lifted off in 2004, with Joe laying in chops to Punk. With Punk striking back only for Joe to tank the hit. However after some headlock wrestling, Punk would wear Joe down with grappling and strikes.

Then would begin an exchange of intense strikes between Dax Harwood and Joe, ending with Joe taking Dax’s head off with a clothesline before tagging in Jay White for a near fall.

In the closing stages of the match, Samoa Joe and CM Punk would battle it out, trading strikes. With the match beginning to break down, Punk would go for the GTS, with Joe locking in the sleeper, with FTR being held by Bullet Club Gold. Eventually, the faces would fight their way free. FTR would end up hitting the Shatter Machine, followed by the GTS on Juice Robinson for the win.
