Samoa Joe Says “Grown Ass Men”, The Elite And CM Punk, Need To Figure It Out Amongst Themselves

Samoa Joe wants CM Punk and The Elite to either bury the hatchet or stay away from one another.

Punk is set to make his return to AEW on Saturday and one of his opponents in a trios match will be an old rival in Samoa Joe.

Speaking to Dan Gartland of Sports Illustrated, Samoa Joe was asked about the divide between Punk and The Elite that has been building for the past few years.

“This isn’t a divide, it’s an argument between men,” said Joe. “All those dudes don’t represent the entire genre of their generation. They have their own issues and their own problems. I don’t think it’s that deep. They’re grown-ass men. They have disagreements, they can figure it out or not. That’s between them.”

Joe will be joined by Bullet Club Gold as his teammates while Punk will be teaming with AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR.

We will have to wait and see if Punk and The Elite will be able to bury the hatchet in the future.
