Orange Cassidy Wins Blackjack Battle Royale At AEW Double Or Nothing

The opening match of the AEW Double Or Nothing PPV was the Blackjack Battle Royale. The entrances for the match began during the Buy-In for the show.

However, when the show began, there were no entrances left as Orange awaited the call for the bell as Kip Sabian tried to eliminate Orange Cassidy.

As the match got under way, several of the competitors decided to take their time getting into the ring. Some highlight reel eliminations featured Rey Fenix walking the ropes and soccer kicking Daivari in the face, while Jay White prevented Komander from doing the same.

Other notable eliminations included Brian Cage dumping out Keith Lee, Penta accidentally eliminating his brother and Ricky Starks eliminating both members of Bullet Club Gold.

As we headed into the final stretch, the final four were revealed to be Big Bill, Penta, Swerve and Big Bill. Bill would continue his string of eliminations, throwing out Penta. Bill would then be eliminated by Swerve, leading to an incredible sequence between the champion and his final challenger that drew This Is Awesome chants from the crowd. The battle would end on the apron, with Orange kicking Swerve’s hand and eliminating him from the match to retain his championship.
