Green is currently working a Karen gimmick.
Chelsea is currently a member of the WWE roster and returned to the company back at the 2023 Royal Rumble match, where she was eliminated almost immediately by Rhea Ripley.
Since then, Chelsea has been working a “Karen” style gimmick where she harasses managers and makes ridiculous demands. The gimmick caught on quick with fans, despite Green not having much success in the ring.
While speaking on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Chelsea Green talked about the origins of her ‘Karen’ gimmick, noting she wasn’t the one who came up with it.
“It was not an idea I had. Let me tell you something, I am not shy. I will pitch 101 things and the internet makes fun of me for it, and I don’t care. My favorite thing to do is to come up with pitches that are so ridiculous and out there, but Karen was not my idea.
I kind of was like, ‘Well, I want to start it tonight. If I don’t win this thing, when I get out of the ring, I’m gonna start being a Karen,’ and so I just did it.”

Green is scheduled to compete for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on Monday’s RAW, teaming with Sonya Deville.
