Recently, Taya Valkyrie signed with AEW and has been feuding with TBS Champion Jade Cargill. She is scheduled to face the champion at Double Or Nothing on Sunday with the title on the line.
Before signing with AEW, Taya had been working in IMPACT Wrestling, catching the attention of WWE once again after a brief run in NXT.
When asked about the possibility of re-signing with WWE while speaking to Chris Van Vliet,, Valkyrie mentioned that she didn’t give it too much thought despite some of her friends returning to the company.
“I didn’t really think about it too much. Obviously, I have some friends that have gone back, for example, Chelsea Green is an example and she’s thriving and she is killing it. I’m so proud of her. But like, I didn’t really think about it too much. I just knew that if it was meant to be, it was meant to be and I was kind of indifferent. I didn’t know if I wanted to subject myself to being in a space like that again. I mean, it worked out. I couldn’t be happier about it.”

We will have to wait and see if Taya will be able to topple the undefeated TBS Champion on Sunday.
