Orange Cassidy Retains AEW International Championship On AEW Dynamite, Ricky Starks Added To Double Or Nothing Battle Royale
Orange Cassidy took on one half of Aussie Open on tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite.
The match kicked off hot with Kyle Fletcher taking the fight immediately to Orange Cassidy, exploding into the corner before hitting a huge brainbuster on OC. This would be followed by a flurry of offense from Orange Cassidy, attempting to take a countout win over Fletcher.
The match would be back and forth from there, with Orange Cassidy once again selling the wear and tear of his schedule. The match was an excellent showcase for Mark Fletcher, who is a tag team wrestler usually.
The finish of the match consisted of Fletcher going for the Grimstone piledriver, with Orange Cassidy rolling through the move attempt into a roll up for the victory.
After the match Excalibur announced Ricky Starks will be in the Blackjack Battle Royale, with Ricky Starks cutting a short promo before being attacked by Bullet Club Gold, who laid him out.
