The latest edition of the show was taped before Monday Night RAW this week and Fightful Select have reported the matches taped on the show.
NXT talents usually get their chance to shine on the program, something that has been the case for a long time now. This was viewed as a way to prepare the NXT stars for when they were called up for the main roster. This was not the case last week and once again was not the case once again, signaling that WWE may not be doing this format on NXT anymore.
– No NXT talent were brought in for WWE Main Event – Dana Brooke vs. Tegan Nox was filmed for Main Event, produced by Molly Holly – Nikki Cross vs. Emma was filmed for WWE Main Event, produced by Kenny Dykstra

We will have to wait and see what comes next with regards to this story but it appears that for now at least, NXT talent have been taken off the show.
