Bronson Reed Prefers Winning New World Heavyweight Championship Over Attempting To Dethrone The Tribal Chief

The new World Heavyweight championship has a lot of contenders ready to make their legacy with it.

Bronson Reed doesn’t see himself attempting to put everything on the line just to defeat the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Instead, he wants to be the man who makes the WWE World Heavyweight championship mean something.

Speaking on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Reed has been asked if he would prefer to be the first to hold the WWE World Heavyweight Championship or the one to dethrone Reigns.

Reed then stated that he would rather win the new title, as no one else could say that. Reed then noted that being the first champion would allow him to build a new legacy.

“I would say be the first just because, once you’ve done that, there’s no one else that can ever say they could do that. Obviously, once Roman Reigns is dethroned, if he’s ever dethroned, you’re gonna be the one and only to do that as well. But with this new championship, you can build a whole new legacy and etch out how you see a champion being fit and how they should be a world champion,” Reed said.

Reed also said he is a big fan of the title’s design and he cannot wait to get his opportunity after Night of Champions where Seth Rollins will face AJ Styles to determine the inaugural WWE World Heavyweight champion.
