Sami Callihan Promotes TRINITY In IMPACT Wrestling, Talks Multiverse United 2 and Who He’d Like To Wrestle
At the first Multiverse United event, Sami Callihan teamed up with Alex Coughlin, Fred Rosser, & PCO to take on Eddie Edwards, Joe Hendry, JR Kratos & Tom Lawlor.
Sami has a specific name in mind of who he’d like to wrestle in the Multiverse United 2 event, recently announced for August 20th.
In a recent interview with Tru Heels BTR, Callihan named Minoru Suzuki as the person he’d want to face at IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2.
“Suzuki, people have been begging for it for years. We’ve only ever touched in multi-man matches before. Like, the Death Machine vs Suzuki, I think the story writes itself. And that’s money, that’s one of my dream matches. I’ve pretty much had every dream match I’ve wanted in professional wrestling other than a couple of them, but Suzuki is one of them. The Death Machine vs. The Murder Grandpa, that just needs to happen.”
Sami also mentioned the Knockouts Division and Trinity being added to it.
“I would put our Knockouts Division on par, if not better than every division on the planet right now…I think it’s also going to give someone like Trinity, who has been successful in other places, a chance to really show what she’s even capable of even more so. The handcuffs are off [in] Impact Wrestling. I hate to use the term ‘the sky’s the limit,’ but the sky is 100% the limit. And getting a chance to have her on Impact Wrestling is huge for us.”

Sami Callihan is in the middle of a big war with The Design, which consists of Deaner, Big Kon, & Alan Angels. He pretended to join the group, but then turned on them at IMPACT’s Rebellion Pay Per View back in April.
Sami is slated to find 2 partners of his choosing to battle The Design at the upcoming Under Siege event on 5/26.
It looks like Rich Swann will be one of them, but the other partner still remains a mystery.
This makes it very intriguing, though. Many fans cannot wait to see who the other partner will be, but are hoping for an OVE reunion of sorts, wanting to see either Jake Crist or Madman Fulton back by Sami’s side.
