Homicide would love to go toe to toe with his dream opponent Cody Rhodes in the WWE.
Homicide has done just about everything, from competing all over the world to facing the best of the best. But one goal of his is to face off against his dream opponent Cody Rhodes in the WWE one day.
While talking to Bill Apter in a new interview for 1WrestlingVideo, Homicide was asked to name a dream opponent of his who currently works in WWE.
“Cody Rhodes. I love Dusty Rhodes and his family, I’m a big mark for the West Texas guys, Terry Funk, my teachers Mandy Fernandez, I do belief in the west Texas guys. Look at the Rhodes, look at the name. Cody Rhodes is magical, he’s like one of those guys.. like forget about the future of pro wrestling, he’s the future [period]. He’s that guy. One day, one day.”
Although Cody Rhodes was a free agent in the late 2010s, he and Homicide never crossed paths.
Rhodes is set to go one on one with Brock Lesnar again, this time at the upcoming WWE PLE Night of Champions.
