Vince McMahon Was The Subject Of A Dropped And Dismissed WWE Shareholder Lawsuit

One lawsuit was dismissed.

According to Bloomberg, WWE stockholders have agreed to abandon their lawsuit against Vince McMahon, stating that their claims became moot when McMahon agreed in late March to refund the $17.4 million the business spent investigating him. The dismissal was approved by the judge in the case.
WWE investors’ counsel has stated that they want to seek a “mootness fee” as compensation for their involvement in pressing McMahon’s hand.

McMahon has been investigated by WWE for alleged sexual harassment and hush money charges.

Instead of the roughly $20 million McMahon is said to have paid his accusers in 2007, the $17.4 million payment went toward the investigation’s expenses.
