AEW are currently working on an upcoming brand split, but it appears that the women’s roster will not be as heavily impacted as first thought.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the updated plan is for there to be less of a hard roster split at least where the women’s roster is concerned.
“The updated plan, and this will possibly change a few times, is that there will be less of a hard roster split as previously told to people who do know about it. The thought is that the split will not be hard at all with the women as they don’t believe there is enough star power to do a hard split.”

We will have to wait and see how hard this brand split will end up being, but it is expected it will come once AEW Collision is ready to go to air.
